Hey guys,

I've searched for an answer to this on a few forums and found the same answer on all of them, but I don't see how it can be right.

I was asking where iTunes stores the album artwork and was told it's embedded in the audio file itself. This cannot be, as when i copy my songs from one machine to the next, the artwork (much of which I painstakingly added myself) does not carry over.

Anyone here know where those album covers are stored or how to transfer them to another machine?

It's kept in the Album Artwork folder that is in the iTunes folder.

Music -> iTunes -> Album Artwork.

Hrm. I've looked in that folder before and not seen anything resembling a picture file. Does anyone have any more detailed information about this?

What are the those '.itc' files nested in numbered folders? How do I figure out how the data in that folder associates to the pictures in my library?
