As a new Linux user, I have the problem of syncing my iPod, unfortunately Apple hasn't come out with a native linux version of iTunes, and emulating it isn't really an option.

So forum, are there any alternatives that I can use on Linux that will allow my iPod to be synced with it?

    Cheers in advance

Here's a thread on the OpenSUSE forums from 2008 on the matter, but it wouldn't surprise me if the situation is exactly the same. There's not exactly a vibrant iPod/OpenSUSE development community, and the iPod touches are harder to deal with.
