Itunes and Adium unexpectedly quit....

So, I've been having some issues with my itunes AND adium...for some reason they won't launch, they load for a second and then immediately go to the "....quit unexpectedly" message, when I try to send an error report, it fails as well...I feel like I'm being hacked or something... Has anyone experienced this, more importantly does anyone know how to fix it?

Checklist so far:
reinstall itunes
ran disk permissions repair
Restart computer

What just don't make sense to me is, what do Adium and Itunes have in common😕 Nothing else is acting like this.
