iTunes and Apple Music is a disaster

    Hi All

    I've been desperately trying to find an existing thread with people who have been issuing problems with iTunes since they signed up with Apple Music. My existing music collection (now more than ten years old) is in a mess. There are albums missing, when you play a song it plays a different song, it things artists are different people, and it flags all songs as being duplicates which have different artists!

    Is there anyway to recover my iTunes library? Is there anyone who has experienced the above and who can recommend remedial action.

    Rigby posted the thread, and there are a lot of solutions and workarounds in it, but the easiest way is to turn off iCloud Music Library in the iTunes settings, restore you music and library files from backup, and don't turn iCML back on.
