itunes and mpegs

    hello. I need a little help...any advice on freeware that would change mpegs into a format that itunes would play?

    heh...I probably should add that I'm not on my Mac today...ive got my pc with me....with itunes now on it...and a whole bunch of Dr Whos on it in mpeg format...that I want Itunes to push to my AppleTv that I have hooked up to a flat screen. So I need something that runs on a PC.

    HandBrake is available for Windows as well.

    hello again. bit of a newb here. In handbrake...I don't see a conversion to .mov which is I think what itunes uses. it only has mkv....will that work?

    HandBrake supports .mp4 and .mkv. Use .mp4 for iTunes.
