I've been using a Mac, iTunes, and a bunch of USB drives for my media collection. I really like how you can group drives in Win 8 under one big drive letter. This would allow me to have iTunes manage my library. Has anyone have any comments on streaming to multiple Apple TVs from iTunes on windows? What I have now works so I don't want to give up performance for convenience.

I can't speak to Win8, but I my home media server is Windows 7 and a Drobo NAS for my media collection now. It works great for me.

I just played around with streaming music to multiple ATVs at the same time last night, and it worked like a charm. As far as I know, anything you can do with iTunes and ATV on a Mac, it can also be done with iTunes for Windows.

Thanks for the quick reply. I read a lot of complaints from window users regarding iTunes but I think it is alway in reference to using it as a music player. Glad to hear it works fine as a media server for ATVs.
