All iPads iTunes App on iPad - Deleting items in download queue

Ok, so I'm using my iPad Air, iOS7.1.
Assuming I have 10 items in my download queue. 3 are currently downloading with the other 7 waiting in the queue to download.

I decide I want to delete these 7 items from downloading now and will download them next month.

Under Downloads, in the top left you have the EDIT link. If I click on it, why can. I not see the checkbox/tickbox to select the items I want to delete from my download queue. Sometimes I see it but most of the time i cannot see it (after clicking in EDIT).

Anyone? 😕
