iTunes apparently going Hi Res in June

    Saw this that says itunes apparently will start offering hi red downloads in June coinciding with the release of the Led Zeppelin remasters

    Obviously I have no idea how reliable this is but has anyone else heard any other rumours?

    Haven't heard anything about this. I think 256Kbps is enough for me - then again, I just want to hear the music, I don't need anything more than that. It's a good compromise for me. I want to get as much music onto my iOS devices as possible, and I prefer local storage (although I use iTunes Match). In fact, when I sync my music, I downsample to 192kbps or 128kbps to fit more songs on my devices.

    $1.99 a song?? can't see that boosting sales.
