    iPhone 6s+
    Current ios version: 12.1.1
Backup made in iTunes using IOS 11.4.

The ios 12.1.1 update happened immediately after backing up data in iTunes.

    Q. Can I restore all data from the iTunes backup made for 11.4 on my iPhone with 12.1.1?

    Thank you

Why not? You can't restore iOS 12.1.1 backup to 11.4 device, but no issues if backup has older iOS. Have you lost any data after the update? o_O I've just seen that some news that it killed LTE, so wonder if it has more bugs.

And just in case, you can't restore iOS 11.4 with restoring the backup.

    Thanks. No data lost.

But, I have around 50GB in "other" storage (on my 128gb); which I want to reclaim by doing a restore iPhone...

    Hence the q.

You can just make a fresh backup but don't rush, wait for 2-3 days. It could be iOS indexing after update.

In 48-72 hours sync your phone with iTunes to remove logs. If this still won't work, then encrypted backup > erase device > restore backup.

Well, whenever I try to sync, it says starting, collecting diagnostic info, and that's all.... nothing more... is the sync happening? How to verify if the sync happened correctly?

Yes, it should clear logs on "collecting diagnostic info" step. But again, I would suggest to try it in 2-3 days for clear result.
