Itunes Backup?

Whats the best way to back up my music? Time machine seems to just default to backing up my preferences and some data. I cannot get it to add my music to the backup.

Im sure it is simple it is just hiding from me I guess. Thanks all.

go system preferences > time machine > options and ensure your music folder (or iTunes folder) isn't excluded from backups.

my iTunes library is too big for my TM backup drive. i have two identical 2 TB firewire drives (one main, the other as backup). i use ChronoSync to keep both drives in sync.
