Having issues with Itunes 12.3, i am unable to sync PDF's to iBooks on iPad.

I import them in iTunes, but they go straight to music. How can i get these to appear in iBook tab ?

If i try and drag them i get an error about unable to import because ipad cannot play..

iOS is 8.4.1

Is this some sort of incompatibility issue?

I'm not sure the later versions of iTunes have that built-into it.

So if you're on Mavericks or higher, open the seperate iBooks app on your Mac, and drag the PDF into there.

Does that work?

yes, but that's only ibooks on mac... i need these PDF's to ipad.

This is what i see after importing: (When i try and drag into "books" i get the following error)

apparently iTunes 12.3 is the problem.... Apple aways changes stuff, and this time it doesn't make sense why they did it.

u have a Books section in iTunes still, hinting that u can sync to iTunes, but u were right i had to add to iBook, then they automatically appeared in books in iTunes... something i never did before, and even Apple genius was clueless.

All fixed :D . but no wonder when changes are announced no one noes about it at Apple, because support start would get too confused.

Apple changes stuff between versions how they interact, its doing my head in..

I upgraded to IOS 9 for nothing :p As Apple always like to point out it may have been due to incompatibility between latest version of iTunes and iOS 8.4.1 i was running as the cause, it wasn't the issue..

It was how iTunes 12.3 does it.

I was even going to install 10.10.5 in VM just to check and see was version of iTunes is running by default. I don't think i can go to 12.2 again, but i'll go to any measure to not sync with iBooks... Since i'm now on iOS 9, i think i may be stuck.
