Wow, this seemed like a huge security flaw until I got the the bit about being unable to go any further. Now it's quite a small one.

I don't think anyone needs to change their password - seems to me this indicates that that the status and version of all apps, even unpublished ones, is stored unencrypted.

You can't be serious

I agree, he can't.

This is mad!

Although you were not able to do there much. I was able to open in "my apps" an app and see all the details. I haven't tried to modify anything but the buttons were enabled.

So... H&R Block Emerald Card app was rejected. Is it possible to see why? :)

On a serious note - this is a MAJOR F--- UP! This makes me feel even less confident in Apple. How the F! If this can happen - maybe one day someone will log in with his iCloud login and suddenly see my data?!?! I'm at a point where I totally DON'T TRUST APPLE.

I've always hated passwords. This could be the solution I've always wished for finally getting rid of passwords forever. Way to go, Apple!

Is iMessage also down? It's not working for me. I signed in and out and all messages are still being sent as SMS.

Dating Game iTunes

I experienced the same issue and got the random dating app.

Dear Apple: You frequently suck at anything to do with cloud services. Terrific hardware and great software, but cloud services suck all too often. Time to hire some better people in that regard.

Major exposure to damages

Any lawyers on? This is more than a security breach. This is exposing confidential information including development plans from major companies. Apple is going to have a very tough time shrugging this one off. It won't be some ****** little firm with dubious class action lawsuits. This will be the legal departments from the major companies preparing the estimated damages. I don't think the terms and agreements can cover this either.

Apple is going to need to make a comment on this one. There needs to be clarification on what data was accessed and who was affected.
