iTunes Constantly "genius accessing iTunes store"

My iTunes is constantly showing "genius accessing iTunes store". Any idea how to make this go away or is it normal.

iTunes 11.3, Mac OS 10.9.4

You could always turn off Genius in the 'Store' menu. That's how I deal with it.

I do not use genius any longer but mine did this from time to time and it helped just to reboot my machine.
