iTunes constantly starting

I am not sure what has triggered this, but in the past day or so, my iTunes opens with me doing anything. I can quit the application, but it will just start back up a few seconds later.

I am running iTunes 10.1 (54) on OS X 10.6.5

I had this exact problem. I ran into this problem after installing Handbrake on 64 bit Windows 7. After removing Handbrake I no longer have this problem. I realize you are running OS-X, but hope this helps.

I have also had the same problem after installing TunesArt, but force quiting the itunes process from Activity Monitor seemed to solve the problem.
