iTunes cover art_cover flow question/issue

So, for some reason, when in cover flow, some of my albums have several (2-20) repetitions of the same artwork. I have noticed that it only occurs on albums with multiple artist, BUT not all albums with multiple artists. I just want to get this fixed before I transfer my library to my ipod touch, otherwise coverflow will be worthless. I have tried messing with the "sorting" options in the get info box and that hasn't worked. Thanks for reading!

I believe - but haven't validated - that this is dependent on checking the "Part of a Compilation" checkbox on those albums. IIRC when I did that my similar problem pretty much went away. I could be completely misremembering, though.
