Any idea whats wrong? iTunes keeps crashing. It only just started happening.

Am having same problem after downloading an iTunes update 4 wks ago. downloaded an 2nd update 2 wks ago and now my laptop pro using leopard won't start - just get a grey screen with apple logo. Have booked an appointment at apple for Thursday to have system restored - hopefully without losing music and doc's.

I'm going to a genius bar this evening. As a similar problem has now happened. Will get back to you in a few hours.

Worked out how to start in SafeMode and this seems to have resolved the problem. I tunes works well now and system seems ok.
did nothing other than start in Safe Mode.
Hope you got your issue sorted.
