Well I sent them an email requesting a new code 7 hours ago.

Waiting to see if they come through.

I'll let you know. If they don't, stay away from happy watching.
Wouldn't you have buyer protection from paypal?

My bad! I didn't follow directions. The email said to redeem directly in iTunes, yet when I clicked on the link, it took me to an Ultraviolet document, which had the code, and said to redeem at Paramount's site.

When I redeemed directly in iTunes it worked!

So my apologies, I take back what I said about Happy Watching. If you follow directions (duh) it works!

Well glad it worked out for you. Seems like a honest oversight on your part. But in the end, you got what you paid for. :)

Good for you, glad it worked. I know I was a little confused at first on which code type to buy and how to redeem exactly. For example, I think Disney Movies Anywhere codes also port to your iTunes library as long as they are synced through the DMA app but I usually just stick to iTunes codes as they seem the easiest to redeem and I know they'll work.

Anyone purchase from the seller bigdsmovies on Ultraviolet Cinema? Good prices, just site looks shady.

They all look pretty shady. Technically, they shouldn't be selling the codes separately, so they are shady!

That's said, I've purchased for a half-dozen different companies listed at ultravioletcinema.com and never had a problem that wasn't fixed by the vendor.

I never order unless the movie clearly says iTunes HD.

And ALWAYS check the bargain page at http://ultravioletcinema.com/topdeals.php?q=ITUNES (sometimes they link to SD versions, so don't get too excited!)

There are many many places online to purchase codes. I started 5-6 years ago on blu-ray.com, they still sell lots of codes there. Just search for UV codes (that's how it got started) and most have itunes also. The UV codes have really crept up in price over the years but itunes has stayed cheap if that's what you want.

Some of those deals aren't worth it. I guess it just depends on the title. Some Disney codes are selling for an average of 15'ish. The bluray is 20. So it's clearly dependent on what title you're looking for.
Not everyone wants a useless disc hanging around for an extra $5.

Most Disney codes sell for $8-$10. The only ones that command higher are early release (Rogue One) or titles that have been vaulted (Lion King).

Just wanted to bring an old topic I found on here to light, as I feel more people should know about.

A few months ago there was a thread on Mac Rumors about iTunes digital download movie codes. It had a link (ultravioletcinema.com) and seemed to gain quite a bit of traction on here as more people checked it out. I checked it out for myself and thought how glad I was that someone shined a light on it, so I'd like to do the same for you. The website (there may be others similar to it) is basically a directory of online stores that sell iTunes digital download movie codes, usually for the cost of renting, if not cheaper. For example: yesterday I purchased the recent "Sing" movie for my son for under $3. Its as simple as paying, having the code instantly emailed to you and redeeming on iTunes and it's ready to stream/download on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV etc.

I think this is an awesome alternative to those that pirate their content as I don't mind paying a couple dollars for a legit code (the same ones that come with the DVD/BluRay) and have it added to my collection on all my devices.

Again, just wanted to bring something to the communities attention that I thought you'd enjoy. Has anybody used these? Try it out and give me your feedback.

Thank you VERY much for bringing this back to light.

Apparently I've been living under a rock and just didn't know it, but I had no idea this existed. The savings are tremendous!

Thanks for confirming Happy Watching was legit. I just bought The Boss for $2.81, got the code within a minute of payment, entered it in iTunes and, voila!

Looking forward to finding more bargains. :D

EDIT: Damn, just found the same movie for under a buck! Oh, well, now I know where to look to find the best deals...and at least I only wasted $2.

Good to know, thanks for the info. I'll definitely check that out.

You're welcome! As I said, I'm not a huge movie buff (I do buy codes occasionally), but really thought the info would be helpful for those that are. I just like to spread the word when I find something cool. And for sure make sure to browse around the stores and bargains section for the lowest price, it's easy to overlook.

Code market is the best way to grow a digital collection! At least for weekly new releases. I sell new stuff each week if anyone is ever looking. :)
Feel free to send a PM if looking for anything recent! I can link to my Google Plus profile, where I have 2 years of good business now.

Do you have a link or online store? I haven't bought person to person yet so not very familiar wit it. I might be interested for future purchases.

US only I am guessing?

Unfortunately, yes they are US only. I tried loads of sites and never found one that worked with UK accounts. It is possible to create a US iTunes account and redeem them that way, but I couldn't be bothered with the hassle.

I do use the CheapCharts app to track daily savings on iTunes movies though
[doublepost=1490729776][/doublepost]BAH - thought I'd try happywatching just in case, definitely still doesn't work on UK accounts :(

Anyway, here's a code for Jack Reacher: Never go back (or whatever it's called, it was the cheapest) if anyone wants it

CODE HAS BEEN USED

Let me know when you've redeemed it

I don't have a storefront. While I understand the ones that have instant delivery can be more buyer-friendly, I'm usually good for a quick response on Hangouts via Google Plus and Messenger via Facebook when I post my titles in those groups.
Also, the storefronts usually cost more. ;)

Code market? Is that a website where we can browse movie titles?
