After upgrading iTunes on my desktop, I noticed the title of the program says "iTunes 1".

Is this normal or did the upgrade go wonky? How do I fix it if it is an error? I tried looking in my registry, but there's nothing that comes up that would explain the title being like this.

It's displaying the name of your iTunes library. You must have created a new iTunes library and named it iTunes 1 at some point.

Thanks - You're right, I had a library issue back in early January, and I replaced the library with a new one while pointing the library to my music folder.

Is there any way I can disable the display of the library name? I didn't have this issue in iTunes 8, or can I leave the library name blank?

Ok, I just went ahead and renamed the original iTunes library installed last year to 'iTunes 3' and named the 'iTunes 1' folder to 'iTunes', and my problem is solved, I just had to point iTunes to the library file.

Thank you very much, Paul! 😀
