Hi
Yesterday I finally updates my iMac and so i updated iTunes to 12.5.1.21. Last update has been two or three months ago, so I donnot know the previous version of iTunes. Possibly 11.x?
Since the update I cannot connect to my audiostream.
Details to the stream:
The stream is password-protected.
Streaming-"Server": Icecast 2.4.2 (actually serving data from mpd 0.19.19)
Authentication-Type: htpasswd
URL: https://servername:666/stream
SSL: self-signed certificate
What I expect:
Before the update, I got asked to enter my username and passwort when I connected for the first time.
Then I had to confirm the SSL-certificate.
From then on, I just doubleclicked on the stream and it connected.
After the Update:
When I doubleclick the stream-entry iTunes skips imediatly to the following entry, a public unprotected stream, and connects to it.
Question:
Why doesn't iTunes connect to my stream anymore? Is this a known issue? I didn't find anything about it on the internet.
How can I fix the problem. Current workaround is using VLC, but that sucks
