iPod iTunes doesn't detect my iPod nano

I connect my ipod nano and the ipod begins to charge, but no syncing occurs. 😕

It doesn't show up my desktop either. Any help is appreciated. 🙁

Things I've tried: Different Cable, different USB port. I think it's a problem with the iPod although it's new, well 1 month old.

Try resetting the iPod and see if maybe you can get it to be recognized in Disk Utility or in an iPod reset program.

I reset and its working again. Phew 🙂
