I hope this is the right forum...

I have many duplicate and old/untracked files in my itunes media folder.

These files DO NOT have track entries in itunes.

Is there a tool out there that will let me identify these orphan files and either add them to itunes or delete them.

I am not just looking for a duplicate file tool. It needs to be smart enough to read itunes and know if a file is not being referenced.

It should also work regardless of where the itunes library is located (though not a absolute must) as so many tools assume the itunes on the local drive. Mine is on an external drive.

Dupin, Tidy Up, etc.

Thanks, but these do not address orphan files in the itunes media folder.

I dont have duplicate tracks in itunes, I have duplicate files in the itunes media folder (as well as older files with no track in itunes).

I am looking for a tool to clean up the media folder.
