iTunes episode season sorting

Hi, I am a bit irritated by the fact that on a few seasons of my favourite TV shows, despite the season number being the same they are split up when in album view. This snapshot show season 6 of family guy showing up as 3 seasons. Anyone know how to fix this or why it is happening?

Also while I'm here, is there any software for mass tagging .mov files, I know of ones for mp4, but I'm used to ripping my DVD's to avi, I don't much care for iPod watching.

Have you tried for Episode name taking out the Family Guy and Ep Number leaving just the Episode Name nothing else in that field

I took all that info out, I keep it there so I don't have to edit all the episode info one by one as well as everything else 🙄 but it then split season 6 into 4 groups instead of 3 😱 so I had to change it back.....

Do you have screenshots of Video Info And Video Sorting

The only variable which differs in either info or sorting for these files is the Name field.

I've had this probelm too when I loaaed Arrested Development onto iTunes. Delete all the files from iTunes and put them back on (If they're purchases, i don't know if it will work)

Under sorting section:
Artist: Family Guy
Album Artist: Family Guy
Album: Family Guy, Season 6
Show Family Guy

If that doesn't work
Under Video Section:
Show:Family Guy
Season Number:6
Show Id: 601/602 Depends on season and episode number Season is the 6 and 01 is the episode number
Episode Number:1/2/3 Depends on episode

I'll get screenshots of what mine look like so you can compare see if that helps

OK. It's fixed, the variable that made the difference was "Artist". Seems strange, on any other shows this is also blank and does not cause any problems. At least it's a variable I can change en mass. Many thanks for your help northy124.
