Itunes error 13005, external drive

So my iTunes library is on an external hard drive because I have the 64gb macbook air, and need to save space. Every time I try to open iTunes, it gives me the 13005 error.

I tried deleting the .lock files, but that only resulted in a non stopping "searching for itunes library".

What do i do to get into iTunes?

You could try deleting the .itdb.journal files too.
