A few days ago I installed Messenger on my iPhone (running 9.1). I'm not sure what happened but iTunes on my MacBook Pro now shows this dialog every couple of hours or so:

Any idea how to make that stop? Syncing my iPhone with the laptop doesn't help.

I think it is a bug in iTunes or the app store. I have had the same problem with two different apps. In both cases it went away after a few days.

Hopefully that ends up being the case for me as well. That seems like a pretty obvious bug to miss on Apple's part though.

Unfortunately it's still happening :( Would it be possible to restore iTunes specific files from Time Machine? If so, which folders should I grab?

This has been happening on my iMac since downloading the Messenger app two weeks ago on my iPhone. VERY annoying to be interrupted every hour by the following popup.

I had no problems for a week, but yesterday another app wouldn't update (Citrix receiver this time). Must be something in the appstore or iTunes.
