iTunes Festival 2012 Live Streaming App Appears on Apple TV

I can't understand why Apple are so reluctant to add an App Store to the Apple TV. The App Store has completely revolutionized how we use telephones and might well do the same for TVs.
Combine the cloud, apps and TVs and I think you have the next big thing.

I agree! They would sell millions more at lightning speeds if it had apps. People who only own iPhones (not even pc's) would have to have one and stat!

So, are the Killers going to be the only ones that aren't going to allows to watch their gig after the fact? Every other show so far has been made available to watch afterward.
