iTunes Get info/title help

I've been having this annoying problem with iTunes. If i add any info to a show, especially "title", I can't delete the info. I can change it, but then the change stays no matter how I try to get rid of it. I've deleted the show, deleted the plists, deleted my iTunes library...nothing works. the old info i used stays and can't be removed. Any one have a way to get rid of the info I put in accidentally?
