Yep, got the confirmation email ok.

What is the domain of your email address? During Christmas, Best Buy had a problem where gift cards to @mac.com addresses weren't being sent. It took 2 calls a day for over a week before they fixed it. Even got a bunch of $5 gift certificates over it.

It sure is a mac.com domain email. I hope I don't have to waste my time on the phone with these idiots. :eek: I've seen comments on the customer reviews on the bb site that it could take 24 hours. I'll give them that before I get all up in their $#%+ about it.
 
I miss Costco selling the itunes gift cards. On general principle, I refuse to give Best Buy a dime of my money and now they are the only ones who offer a deal like this now that Costco doesn't (and it's still better than what Costco gave).

Ah well. Least I managed to luck out on a lot of free itunes gift certificates over Christmas :) so it's not like I need it at all.

Staples ran a similar sales about a month and a half ago. I've seen them run it once before that.
 
Just bought a $100 dollar iTunes gift card off Best Buy for $80 saved $20 dollars! Few days ago bought $50 dollar gift card off Walmart regular price! Should have waited but couldn't leave my brand new iPad empty without apps, music, and movies on it!
 
Still nothing this morning. I emailed their customer support to see what they have to say for themselves. I'm betting I'll get some script-fueled generic response about processing times etc (even though the order screen clearly states the code should be received in 15 mins).

Reading their forums, this appears to be a recurring issue with them and oftentimes results with BB canceling the order for a variety of bogus reasons in an apparent effort to disguise the fact that they are "out of stock". I guess they are only allocated a finite amount of cards at the discounted cost. This may or may not be accurate as it's based on heresay from other customers. However, my historical experience with BB hasn't been all that positive and if they stiff me on this one, I'm done with them. :rolleyes:

*EDIT* found this interesting bit. If I get nowhere with the email inquiry, I'm gonna start pinging this guy. Hopefully this is helpful for someone else.

Is the deal no longer on? Because it looks like a $100 card costs $100 on their website... Unless there is a place to put in a coupon code or something?

Glad you finally got it! I think it was just a one day deal. I'm glad so many people got to take advantage of it.
