iTunes greyed out items

Around half of my library items are greyed out. I am using Apple Music, and iTunes library sync is on.

I have around 400 files - but only around 200 files on my local drive which are not greyed out.

Where does the greyed out songs come from? And more importantly, how do I get them back? They have been greyed out for months. Tried turning iCloud sharing on and off a few times.

All I want is to get the 200 greyed out files back on my local drive.

Any ideas?
