Do the movies fill up the screen on the iPhone 6 Plus or are there black bars?

There are not that many movies filmed in 16:9 aspect ratio these days (most widescreens are in 21:9).
Fortunately iPhone can scale the pic to either fill the width or height of the screen. Latter case obviously will crop it from left&right.
