Here is what happened:

I had to reformat my computer with Vista, so now it is going to want to sync my new itunes to my ipod.

But all my music is on my ipod.

So I went into explorer, and found the hidden folder for itunes music.

I copied all of it do My Documents and I have all my music on my computer to add to my new itunes, and resync my ipod + itunes.

Here is the question:

How can I get it to where the folders are actually the Artist Name and such? With the songs inside of it, instead of the weird folder names that are stored on the ipod?

Perhaps there is an easier way than this, but I can only suggest doing it manually. Personally, if I have the time, I don't care, but others might feel differently. When you reformatted your computer, did you also backup all your data? If so, why don't you just put that on your computer and then add it you iTunes? Forgive me if I completely misinterpreted your original meaning.
