iTunes help needed...

Ok, I have all my music in the default music folder in my home directory (users/myname/music/iTunes/iTunesMusic/).

The problem is that in: users/myname/music/iTunes/ many temporary files are being created. At last count these files took up about 900Mb. They are all in the format of ?iTunes Temp 1? with a few saying ?iTunes Export 1?. A more detailed view of iTunes Temp 1 says it?s an iTunes Database file.

What I want to know is how I can stop these temporary files being created. I don?t really have many free Gb?s and don?t want to waste it.

Any ideas??
