iTunes Help

    I plugged my iPad Air to update to ios 8. Everything downloaded correctly and iPad is asking me to plug into iTunes (the iTunes app icon and the lightning cable pic) now when I plug into the laptop (macbook Pro) itunes quits unexpectedly and it will not let me continue the update. If I unplug the cable, iTunes starts up just fine.
    Running Yosemite beta.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Seriously, given that iOS 8 was just released, just how many people on this board did you think were going to have hands on experience with it?
