I was wondering what the fastest way to highlight songs is in itunes, since you can't drag and highlight, i am looking to convert all my mpeg files to ACC is that a good idea or not, and one last question what is the best video compression format that will allow for optimal quality?

Cmd-A to select all
click-Shift-click to select a range
Cmd-click to select individual songs.

H264 (the default conversion format in iTunes) is the best one for the Mac. It is compatible with the iPhone/AppleTV and works flawlessly throughout the Mac (while using less space)
