itunes id3 editing

is it possible to edit the info in id3 without changing the file's "modified date"? has anyone tried this before?

Not using iTunes. I believe Media Rage has this ability, though.

there's some bug with media rage. the modification date is not preserved for example when batch editing.
do you know a way round this?

I don't actually use Media Rage all that much, so I'm afraid I can't help ya.
