iTunes Keeps Closing On its Own...Help

iTunes appears to runnning smoothly, but everytime I try to get to the music store, it will just close out on its own, without an error message. I have a 1.25 powerbook and OS 10.4.5. Any thoughts on why this is happeneing or how I can fix the problem. Thanks for your help.

Look at console.app and try to find any messages that are written when the app tanks.

try getting iTunes 6.0.4 as that has a lot of bug fixes
