iTunes Keeps Opening

But I have a iTunes issue on my mac mini. Itunes keeps opening up. I close it down and after a few minutes iTunes item on the dock starts bouncing, then iTunes is open to use. Most strange ! or possessed if you prefer!

Anyone with ideas on what to do?

Do you have any widgets or third-party apps that are accessing iTunes? They're the primary cause of this issue.

Do you possibly have Sharing turned on in iTunes prefs? Perhaps shared music users are causing iTunes to continually jump open. If anything, toss your iTunes preferences (not your library file) and see if it helps.

check the plugins you have on your browser, such as firefox. one time i had a plugin where you could play itunes through firefox and i forgot about it and everytime i would open firefox itunes would open. i dont remember what the plugin was called but as mentioned above its most likely third party application which uses itunes...
