Right now, I have been using itunes mainly for just music, the only reason I began to use itunes at all was because I have an ipod. I do notice that itunes can also store & buy movies, tv shows & books. I keep my itunes library on an external hard drive, & it is mostly music, with a few apps, & maybe a book. If in the future I get movies or TV shows from itunes, would I be better to add these to my existing itunes library that has mostly music? or can I have separate hard drives for each media type? ie I would get a separate hard drive for an separate itunes library with movies & TV shows. which of the itunes library types out of music, movies, TV shows, podcasts, itunes U, books , app, and tones would have the largest file sizes? what ever I do, I want my external hard drive to be able to be flexible with changes, to my itunes library. which is best? a single itunes library for all library types? or separate drives for different content?
