iTunes library and TimeMachine backup

Hello,

would it be a good idea to exclude iTunes library from TimeMachine back up or will I risk anything doing so?

Is there anything else I could exclude from the backups without jeopardizing the value of the backup?

Unless your entire library is backed up somewhere else or 100% purchased through iTunes, I'd back it up.

There's no way in hell I'd rip 100+ CDs again, I backup everything.

You wouldn't backup your iTunes. Simple as that.
If your computer crashed and you restored, iTunes would be empty.
