iTunes Library Migration Help

Hi,

I am having trouble migrating my itunes library. I have the saved library backed up, and I made sure that the music is all there.

Then, I copied all of the folders to where I want them and directed itunes to look there under preferences, but it doesn't bring any music up.

I also tried launching itunes while holding shift and selecting the library, but that doesn't work either.

Is someone willing to help me troubleshoot this?

It is itunes for windows.
