Is there a way to put all the music in my iTunes library into a list in excel or something similar?

ok i tried both the types of exports and all i get is some weird code. What am i suppose to do with the files after you export your list? I've tried to open both the txt and xml in a number of apps and they all just turn out as code. What am i suppose to do with the files once they are exported?

If you go File>Export Song List..., and then at the bottom of the dialogue box choose Plain Text, save it, find the file, ctrl+click (or right-click) on it and choose Open With>Excel, it should open very nicely in Excel with all the information you could ever want already organized into columns and rows.
