iTunes match and unreleased songs

Hi
I just got iTunes match. Before I bought it, I read that it will take all songs inclusive songs not from iTunes a.s.o. I am a songwriter so I have a lot of my own unreleased songs in my library, and it seems like iTunes match is not taking them?
Can somebody help?
