I’ve had itunes match for a few years now. Always had issues with adding cd’s to my library and them not showing up on my phone/ipad, or they will show up on one but not the other. Very frustrating but I learned to deal with it.
Recently I subscribed to Apple Music and now it’s worse. I added in a bunch of music from my cd collection about two weeks ago. Multiple cd’s are greyed out, or like half of the songs are greyed out and the others on the same cd are available to stream. Some of these are not commercial releases so I get that they are not available to “match” but in that case we are allowed 25,000 (?) unmatched songs.
The only way to “access” the new music is to go into the Library tab and scroll down to Home Library, then select my library, wait for it to load, then they are available to stream on my phone/ipad. Each time I go into the music app I have to go through this process.
I’ve tried all of the usual sign out of everything/sign back in that ios seems to require all too often anymore. I like AM but not sure it’s worth this.
So, is some kind of match/apple music syncing issue? I didn’t pay attention but it seems like this might have started with the last ios update. Has anyone else seen this and have any suggestions?
