iTunes Match Battery Drain!

Hi!

I can only use my iPhone 5 running the latest OS if I have iTunes Match off because otherwise my battery just drains.

There doesn't seem to be any recent information on this, any help please guys and girls?

How did you go about concluding that the issue stems down to iTunes Match?

When I switch it on the battery drains in a matter of hours, when I turn it off it lasts 3-4x longer

Same problem here. 6.1.4.
Music player has become laggy with internet connection circle swirling all the time. Battery life has become really bad.
Any ideas?

Guys, I have only one solution for your problem. 😉 Go to Settings->Music and turn Itunes Match off. Also, remove your Apple ID from Home collection.
