I keep getting hung up with 54 songs to go. It's gone through the process five times now.

Has anyone who has gotten this to work tried between two computers yet?

For example, if I enter my apple ID in my work computer's iTunes and enable Match, would both computers still have their local music while seeing the other computer's library as on the cloud and available to download? This is the most important issue for me. I download music at home and work, so my two libraries are pretty different. If this seemlessly automates syncing several computers, this is a godsend. The iPhone/iPad integration is just icing on the cake.

I've actually gotten through the second step (Matching your music with songs in the iTunes store) a few times now. Every single time, it says it's only matched ~700 songs or so, and wants to upload the other ~10,200 (!!!).

I don't think the matching is working just yet, as I know that a lot (if not most) of this music is in the iTunes store.

Pretty much same here. All my music is probably available on iTunes but it said it only matched around 700 of them.

It's trying to upload a few thousand one at a time.

Mine finally got through step 2 and matched about half of my music, which seems way better than a lot of you are seeing. It uploaded 16 songs and hung.

One concern is now a lot music is showing up on my iPhone as "Unknown" artist. Yes the unknown's are in alphabetical order (for instance, the Unknown that should be Radiohead is in the R's). Album names and song names are just fine.

anyone getting this...

iTunes Match beta testing has begun with an initial set of developers. Over the next days, we will continue to expand our testing. Please check back later.

In the US and have a dev account.

I think you're not part of the initial set of developers. Eventually Apple will expand the testing to include all developers, but as of now only a select few are able to test the service.

Or that's what I think it means...

Did anyone install beta-7 and is the iTunes match still there?
There's still no iTunes match in the beta-7 for Windows so I'm wondering if that means that a 7.1 is coming for Windows or if maybe there won't be any Windows specific beta-testing at all.

Add me to the list of "stuck" matches. Last week when it first hit, I was able to get my library of ~2300 songs to go through and finish, though the majority of them weren't matched, even though they exist on iTunes, so at the moment, if the matching doesn't improve, I've paid $25 for cloud storage of even my crappy tracks I was under the impression would match and I could redownload as 256k AAC's. The downright funny thing is, I have albums where half the songs got matched, and the other half did not. Now, for the last 3 days, I can't get iTunes Match to get past step 2 with 18 songs remaining, and since theres no diagnostic info, I have no idea what these 18 tracks are that are stalling the process.

It was working fine for me up until Friday as long as I didn't try to match my whole library at once (a few hundred songs at a time worked fine and matched pretty well). Now the Match step seems to be disabled. It won't go past 0 no matter what. I've tried creating new libraries and nothing. I'm assuming it must be on their end. Maybe they froze it to fix the matching. Hopefully it will start matching again soon. It was a pretty neat program while it was working and I managed to get a few thousand songs in better quality without having to dig through the garage at my mom's house for the CDs and spending all the time re-ripping them.
