iTunes Match: Can I choose to not upload unmatched songs?

To prepare for iTunes Match I ripped some old CDs. To save time I ripped two CDs at a time simultaneously into iTunes. It turns out that many of tracks ripped simultaneously have occasional drops. I would like to wait and see what matches and only re-rip the rest so I won't have to touch all of it. I don't want to upload the poor quality tracks that don't match and instead re-rip them. At that point they can upload. Thx.

I'd like to know this also. I'm also curious how accurate the matches are, for instance, if an album title has "remastered" in it on the store but not in my collection.

I'd rather do whatever renaming is necessary to try to get as many matches as possible before uploading the remainder.
