I subscribed last year then canceled, decided it wasn't worth it since I use spotify. But looks like I can still stream many songs from my phone that I've bought on iTunes in the past -- even though my iPhone confirms that I'm not an iTunes Match subscriber.

Just curious if anyone knows why this is...

seeing songs you've bought in the past is a feature of icloud and not itunes match. itunes match matches your music (whether store bought or not) with their music and allows you to download/stream all of that music on the go.

Interesting. But it allows me to stream all that music too, wasn't aware that was a free service of iCloud.
