Try signing out then signing in plus close and re open itunes, also make sure your running the latest version on itunes.

taking a while to analyse my tracks, i suspect apple servers are gonna get a pounding tonight

Having purchased the morning and Apple having to refund the cost - it is now live in UK, have re-subscribed and its working well
:)

I get the same thing. I'm here in the UK. I've been looking forward to this service since it was announced.

The iTunes Match tab appears at the side but when you click it you get a Genius holding page?

ARRRRGGHHH!!! LOL! I want this working so bad! Perhaps the servers are just being overloaded, but it's not like iOS 5 when most iPhone users knew about it, it's just mainly geeks/dweebs/nerds that know this has gone live.

For those of you receiving the "log out and back in" error, had you signed up before it was officially live or have you only signed up since it hit the store frontpage?

I signed up yesterday evening and I'm wondering if that's the cause.

Thank god I'm not the only one with the please sign out and in again errors!

In the GTA of Ontario, Canada, and getting many 5002 iTunes errors when attempting to subscribe to iTunes Match. Relaunched iTunes, signed in and signed back in, still not doing it. Anyone?

Brilliant, glad that isn't the problem then. Phew.

Just incase anyone was wondering, I've tried the following.

Restarting iTunes
Restarting Mac
Signing out and In before and after both of the above
Removing the Mac from iTunes Match and re-adding

Does Match do the same thing as the iTunes Plus thing I am getting offered on my account? As in for £17 I can upgrade all my purchased songs to non DRM high quality music with iTunes Plus, or for £22 I could upgrade all of those songs, as well as all the low quality rips I have DRM free?

Apple Updates its support documents to include the new countries that can get itunes match:

Notes

iTunes Match is limited to 25,000 songs.

iTunes Store purchases made with the same Apple ID being used for iTunes Match do not count towards the 25,000 song limit.

Unmatched content will be uploaded as is; upload time varies depending on the amounts uploaded and local network speeds.

Song files over 200 MB will not be uploaded to iCloud.

Songs containing DRM (Digital Rights Management) will not be matched or uploaded to iCloud unless your computer is authorized for playback of that content.

Songs purchased outside of the United States iTunes Store containing DRM (Digital Rights Management) will not be matched or uploaded to iCloud.
About file formats

Songs encoded in ALAC, WAV, or AIFF will be transcoded to a separate
temporary AAC 256 kbps file locally, prior to uploading to iCloud. The original files will remain untouched.

Songs encoded as AAC or MP3 that do not meet certain quality criteria will not be matched or uploaded to iCloud.

iTunes Match is currently available in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States.

It's working fine on my office iMac, but my MacBook Air is throwing the log in error all the time.

Also, Match is sort of working on my Apple TV. My library is shown, but whenever I try to play something I get a "No Content Found" error.

iTunes Australia requesting credit card to subscribe, when I only use the cards. Is this right? :/

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B5127c Safari/7534.48.3)

It Is showing up on Australian iDevices now.

Working now after a restart

I was getting the log in error too, restarted my MBP and now successfully working through my library :)

Please Sign In Again

iTunes Match has encountered an error. Please choose Sign Out and then Sign In from the iTunes menu and try again.

I have paid for iTunes Match and accepted the new terms, but I keep getting the above error message. Anyone in the UK getting any joy with this?

got it once, but the purchase went through, and next time i got "add this computer" message.

my library is on a shared drive across a slow network, so its taking a while...
