I signed up for iTunes match about a week ago and have had it match everything on my MBP's drive. I had it on my iPhone but turned it off so that it doesn't use up my AT&T's data.

I do have a question or two. If I delete and song and download the matched version, am I getting one from the iTunes store or the one that was uploaded? These are on songs that are linked to one in the store, not some weird song I had in my library.

So let's say I had previously imported Bill Cosby is a Very Funny Fellow, Right? into iTunes. At the time it wasn't available in iTunes so I had to add my own art. When I delete the track from my library and redownload it will I get my old art or whatever iTunes has now?

I also had 3 songs that I had imported but had issues, probably from a scratched CD. One left off the last 2 minutes of the song and just imported the next. On this one, when I delete the album, it will download matched versions of all the songs except for the damaged one... it downloads mine. One was one iTunes doesn't have. The third one iTunes has but I listened to the song a couple of times and could not find the part that was damaged. I downloaded a new copy but can't tell the difference.

I was hoping to switch all my songs over to iTunes versions of everything. I thought it would classify me as having bought the songs but that doesn't seem to be the case, which is understandable.
