Itunes Match Issue - with Status and Kind

    Ripped and uploaded 2 CDs yesterday.

    One, had all songs matched except one (which is another story).

    The other, Tom Petty's greatest hits claims in the "Icloud Status" that it is "Matched" yet when I look at the "Kind" column it shows "AAC Audio File" and the "Bit Rate" is "256 VBR" rather than what it should say "Matched AAC audio File" with a "Bit Rate" of "256"

    Clearly, one of those two columns is completely wrong. I went through my list and many songs have the same inconsistent columns.

    Anyone else see this issue, which column is wrong? Seems like Tom Petty was really uploaded rather than matched.

    I've used this Match service for two days and the more I use it, the less I think it was ready.

    I decided to delete the Tom Petty from both Itunes and Icloud and re-rip.

    I then re-ripped at the lower 128 bit rate. It now says the icloud status is "matched" yet the bit rate is only 128. Which, if my understanding of the service is correct, is impossible.

    So far, I'm underwhelmed by both the usability of this service and the bugginess.

    If you now delete those tracks from your computer (but not from iCloud) and then download them they will show as being matched AAC and 256.

    Thanks. Feel pretty stupid now. Could have sworn I had done that yesterday, but indeed, it is working.
