I have music that appears on iTunes on my computer but not readily on my iPhone. For example, some albums I own and are matched do not appear under albums or artists. I can search and find songs.

I tried Apple Care and got no real help. I also tried manually entering names of artists. It may have worked for some but not many.

Any thoughts?

Thank you

No, just about 1800. But the songs are on the iphone (and I think matched). They just do not appear under the artist or album. The properties has the info correct on my computer.

Check the basics:

In the iPhone Settings -> Music -> iTunes Match is ON

Turn off the iPhone and turn it back on.

Check good Internet connection.

Check iTunes preferences for the Cloud sync.
Check iCloud preferences for iTunea match.

Update iPhone to the latest firmware.

Update Mac OS X and iTunes to the latest.
